Ola! The year dog is almost coming!
For my foreign friends who might be interested in Chinese New Year, here is a brief introduction to this festival.
When is it?
Chinese New Year Eve(aka: Chu Xi) is the last day of lunar calendar. Well, the weird thing is the actual date on the normal calendar varies every year. I don’t even know how it happens.
What am I doing at CNYE?
Family members union and have dinner together. Usually the dinner consists of 8 cold plates, 10 hot plates, 1 soup and 2-3 snacks.
The biggest domestic migration
The title says, you can barely imagine how extremely crowded the railway station, airport would be. But, if you want to travel around China during the spring festival, I reckon it would be a quite different experience.
